If you are even looking at this article CONGRATULATIONS. So happy that you found the one. If you stumbled across my article I am going to give you the best spots in Fayetteville to propose. Now mind you, there are plenty of other great spots to propose outside of Fayetteville but let’s say you are excited you want to do it ASAP and you do not want to wait any longer. I got youuu. So here goes my list of different spots you should ask you girl or guy the big question!
- Downtown Fayetteville
When I first moved to Fayetteville I thought it was a joke that they called it “downtown Fayetteville”. I come from a big city so downtown Fayetteville was hilarious to me because its very small maybe 7 blocks max of a little strip. But it is ADORABLE. It really grew on me. There are a couple super cute restaurants down town I highly recommend. One is called Antonella’s it is small and doesn’t take reservations. The inside of the restaurant is super romantic and intimate. The food is some of the best Italian food in Fayetteville. Another restaurant idea is Pierro’s Italian Bistro which is also downtown. I prefer Pierro’s more for the food but Antonella’s has the better atmosphere. So whichever you prefer.
2. Fayetteville Botanical Gardens
Um hello? How romantic and adorable would it be if you took her or him on a walk through the botanical gardens and asked them surrounded by the flowers? It isn’t expensive to get in and there is not a huge crowd whenever I have gone in the past. The Fayetteville Botanical Gardens would be such a cute spot to propose because it is so pretty and then you guys can always go back on your anniversary to celebrate.
3. Carvers State Park
If you are someone that does not like to have a bunch of people around and you want to be a bit more intimate this state park might be a good option. Theres two locations you can enter the state park. One is off Ramsey st in Fayetteville and this spot is good for trails. You could take her or him on a walk to begin and maybe have some type of picnic waiting. The other location is more towards Spring Lake. The Spring Lake location is nice because it has a huge field and you could set something up there to ask them. Whether it is rose petals or a picnic or photographs of you guys this field is super pretty and there aren’t many people there so it is intimate.
4. Mazarick Park
Honestly this park is super cute because it has little trails and it also has multiple areas to be by the water. You could set something up like candles or rose petals and even have your friends and family jump out from behind trees when you propose. Below are some photos from the park I have personally taken.
5. Cape Fear Winery
Cape Fear Winery is such a great option (as long as you both like wine haha). Cape Fear is nice because they do offer overnight options. They have really luxurious lodging options. The rooms are sooo cute. There is also a restaurant on the winery so you could make it a whole weekend! Plus I am sure you could call ahead of time and say you are planning to propose and the workers might have some fun ideas to help you set up the room. Here is a link to their lodging!
6. Wine and Design
If you haven’t heard of paint and sip you are living under a rock. No offense. It’s a super fun date night idea that you could definitely make into a proposal if you planned it right. You could say you just are planning a fun date and maybe paint the question on your canvas? I don’t know something like that! You could pretend you don’t want to show each other until the end and thats when you could ask?
Good luck 🙂
Hope this list helps you get some ideas flowing! The more thought you put into it the more they will love it. Do not forget many girls and guys love having their proposal captured with beautiful photos. So if you didn’t think about it please thing about having someone there to take photos of their reaction.
